Welcome to The AIMies, a creative awards program that celebrates and rewards excellent print and digital editorial work. This yearly in-house recognition program is a grassroots effort started by your colleagues with significant support of management.

Here’s how it works:

The AIMies honor outstanding achievement in print and digital media, writing, photography & design, and inclusivity. The program recognizes both individuals and teams whose combined work effectively communicates with our audience in memorable ways. Not only will winners be honored for their good work, but cash prizes will be awarded.

Who’s Eligible: All AIM Designers, Writers/Editors, Photographers, Illustrators and other creative professionals are eligible to submit entries. Submissions can be from an individual or on behalf of a team (editorial/design). We will accept one submission from an individual or team in each category. You may enter more than one category.

The Categories:

• Excellence in Writing: To include news stories, features and columns

• Excellence in Digital Media: To Include podcasts, videos, blogs, vlogs, web specials and social media

• Excellence in Design and Photography: To include covers, print and online features, and other design and photo-heavy projects

• Excellence in Inclusivity: To include media in any form that advances AIM’s diversity mission.

What’s Eligible: The judges will consider published submissions in the four categories. See the entry guidelines for specific details.

The Reward: The top 3 prizes in each category are: First place $1000; Second place $750; and Third place $500. The honorable mention winners in each category receive $200 each. For team entry winners, the money is shared equally amongst the team.
