Michele J. Goldsmith steps into the Vice President and General Manager role for Soundings Trade Only.
Des Moines, IA (February 28, 2023) – The Active Interest Media (AIM) Marine Group announced the promotion of Michele J. Goldsmith to Vice President and General Manager of the Soundings Trade Only Group. In Goldsmith’s new role she will manage the Soundings Trade Only multimedia brand and events which includes Pitch the Pros, Leadership Summit, and Women in the Industry.

Goldsmith’s marine industry experience includes manufacturing operations, product development, marketing management, as well as sales management to the OEM, aftermarket, domestic and international sectors. Goldsmith has served the marine industry on the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) board of directors and its executive board, as chairperson of the NMMA MACD board of directors, on the Grow Boating and NMMA PAC board of directors, and the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) technical board of directors.
